Sponsored Post: Keystone Insurance

Posted Monday, January 21, 2008

Considering the number of construction and building projects going on in Ranelagh these days, not to mention all the new businesses, this seems an appropriate time to post a review of Keystone Insurance's public liability insurance. Public liability insurance is a special kind of insurance policy designed to cover a business, should anyone come to harm on the property, or due to the activities - or negligence - of the business or employees. Keystone, specialising in the construction trade, deal with more than a dozen construction insurers to make sure that they provide customers with the best possible premiums as well as the most comprehensive cover available. They have a comprehensive, easy to use site, and your best interests are their major concern.

In recent years, public liability insurance claims have become more frequent, as members of the public have a greater awareness of their rights. Since the introduction of "no win no fee" claims, people have found it even easier to make claims against unsuspecting businesses. Without public liability insurance, your business can be held responsible for claims of up to €2.6 million. So if you're a construction company operating in Ranelagh, or if you're hiring one, do consider getting Keystone involved.

Thousands of people are injured in accidents every year in the UK - on the road, at work, in the home, in public places. In some cases, particularly in the home, the injured person is the victim of his own actions and no one else is to blame. However, outside the home the injury may be caused by the negligent act of another party eg. motorist, employer, local authority, owners/occupiers of premises such as shops restaurants, offices and the innocent injured party could be eligible to make a compensation claim. In order to pursue such a claim the victim will need the assistance of a solicitor and this has sometimes deterred people from claiming. However the introduction of the “no win no fee” system in recent years means that persons with a claim to pursue need not be put off by the fear of expensive legal fees.
